That's right- you know all those plants you've been so envious of in our shop windows? Those ones you see when you drive down Division and wonder if we're a freaking plant store? Well, a whole lotta those little green babies are going to be FOR SALE at September First Friday!!!
So, come one, come all, and get a little bit of green for your home to carry summer into fall!

We are so excited to be part of first Found Cottage Mercantile Market at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds September 1 and 2! We are joining maker, picker, and creative friends from all over the United States to meet up for a two day market featuring food trucks, vintage vendors, handmade artisans and more, in the beautiful town of Holland, MI!!!

Parliament is so excited to be vending once again at the ever-classic Eastown Streetfair!!! They've upped the ante once more this year with another stage, more bands than ever, and a beer tent- come visit the Parliament Pop-Up and so many other amazing and talented local creatives for a day of autumn family fun!

Earthwork Harvest Gathering- 9/15-17 w/ Littlewings Designs!

Parliament Co-Founder Elyse Marie Welcher will be vending her line, Littlewings Designs, this year at the 2017 Earthworks Harvesting Gathering Festival! Be sure to stop by her booth if you make it out for this beautiful weekend of soul, music, spirit, and heart-centered Harvest celebration, nestled in the rolling hills of Lake City, MI. Runaway Press Pop-Up Shop- 9/24!

Stop by and shop the goods of GR native Michelle Johnson of Runaway Press! Michelle works with traditional letter-press methods to create her naturally inspired cards, prints, journals, and other goods! Michelle will have an array of her work available for purchase, and will also be demoing the letterpress process on site from noon-6pm!!!

Natural Dye from Your Kitchen Workshop: 9/17

Join Megan Roach, co-founder of Parliament and maker of Adventure Textiles, for an afternoon of fiber and color.  We’ll be exploring the magic of achieving a natural dyes from materials in your kitchen. Come prepared to learn how to set up natural dye pots, and dye with common food items like onions and tea. This workshop will cover safety/clean up procedures, how to prepare dye materials as well as where to purchase dye stuff. Each participant will leave with a small dye journal with instructions and samples from each of the colors studied. Click here for times and sign-up details!
